I actually took my front end apart the other day for a rebuild and then road before putting the front fender back on.. There is a perfect stream of water (when it's wet) and dirt that arcs out away from the bike and then back into my face directly. I had a full face on, which just got really dirty...

I'm a huge fan of front fenders...

I'm with matt on this one...fenders are awesome. I have a nice full fender on the CL that is just ready and waiting for some rain. that being said, Elvira just wasn't made for riding in the rain. I'd much rather be riding something that doesn't put my face closer to the ground when its pouring rain...she was intended for quick whips to and from work, when the weather is permitting. fenders add weight, might be insignificant to you, but i have shaved everything i can off of it, so that just had to go.

It's your bike and you can call it what you want, but there may be some among us who are not , shall we say, wild about that name.

Besides Kool-Aid was way cooler, or Kooler......

Well, at least it stayed as Kool-Aid for the voting, then!! ;D

An unrelated question for Tim: What is the average number of voters usually participating in BOTM? I'm just wondering given the huge DTT membership.

I renamed Project Kool-Aid as Christine, following the Stephen King automobile horror flick of the 1980's. It seemed more fitting

Wow that was close and indicates that we have people who like different bikes and styles - and that is a very good thing. Thank you to everyone that voted for the Phat Trakka and to everyone that voted for their favorite bike.

It also goes to show that every vote counts and one vote either way can make a difference to the outcome.

That Phat Tracker is awesome. I built a traditional style cafe, but I love the dirt tracker look.

Nope, not that I know of. I say there should be a way o untie the situation in the future. ;-)
