Alright, I've always liked female bands, from Grace Slick to Barbara Streisand, I dig them all. So how about posting up some favorites on here.
I'll start with The Dollsquad from Australia. Fun times!

Thank You. I couldn't believe it took so long for L7 to be mentioned! I played a show with them once, Gawd, about 12 years ago? I was single then. Experiences like that change you. Janice Tanaka had just joined the band. I still have a crush on the her that was at that show.
 
Same here. I really got into the girl bands in the 90's, even if I didn't admit it to my buds right away. I guess it started with women like Patty Smith (NOT Patty Smyth of Scandal, despite how hot she was) and Chrissy Hynde and encompassed bands like Mary's Danish, Betty Seveert, Pixies, Sonic Youth, Shonen Knife, and even stuff like Hope Sandoval, Natalie Merchant (I used to say if she were my girlfriend, I'd make her sing to me), and Cowboy Junkies. Women add a whole different dimension to rock. Anyone remember how hot Lita Ford used to be??? Good Gawd!

Holy shit! Did someone mention Sleater Kinny and Romeo Void?!? Yeah, some cool shit fo sho. Don't forget Xene Cervenka and of course Pylon!
