Final Tune for this Build

Grumpy retired oldtimer... "eat a Snickers bar"
The weather here warmed up enough for me to take my recent 1971 CB450 Cafe build out for a final tuning. With the Pamco ignition running perfect the bike performed flawlessly, even in heavy cross winds with K&N pod filters on the stock carbs. This 450 has a tremendous amount of go and coupled with the light nimble bike I was really impressed. ;D

Thanks, it's a fairing I stole from a NightRod (V-Rod) Harley. Fairing/headlight and holder not cheap unless you find one on ebay. I swapped out the bulb for a 35/35 watt'r to make it easy on the charging circuit. You'll need to fabricate a redesigned support bracket to fix it to the upper tree. I think it looks better on the Honda than the Harley... :D

Here's a pic with a less cluttered background, it was taken before I wrapped the pipes or installed the steering damper.
