Re: My First Build 1978 cb550k (updated Dec 3rd) Project: COPPER roller!!
I love this forum. Every time I come up with a crazy idea, all I have to do it look for a while and someone will pull it off brilliantly. Love the bike and the copper is the shit! Are you going to clear coat it or let it patina?
Re: My First Build 1978 cb550k (updated Dec 4th mounting Engine!) Project: COPPER
Thanks i couldn't be happier with the outcome I have wanted to build this bike for years!
i gotta finish the carbs and rejet it and it will be rideable. eventually im going to get a slightly thicker back tire. and relace the tires and true them .
and that will make it really stand out! as well as a few small copper bits and ends
I thought about really polishing it. but i opted not to because in person the tank looks amazing. i wanted the bike to look sort of steampunkish and distressed
but at the same time look clean and pristine once its all done im going to take some nice photos with my good camera.
