Are you serious about planning on painting the tank? I think it looks amazing as it is. Infact, when I first looked at the photos I started thinking of painting mine to look like that

Is that color stock? What year is your bike?

colour isn't stock...it's a '77. stock colours that year were blue and orange (how complementary!) anyways, mine's supposed to be blue. you can see it where the paint is flaking off. i've actually put in a quote for the stuff they wrap buses and cars in for ads...that way i can plaster all these guys' asses on my bike. (Note to noel...NOT) it needs a new paint job.

That's a shame - I was diggin the paint job too. Sure looks great in the photo's with the white&gold, like a real hotrod.

How 'secret' is this distributor? I've been throwing around the idea of the fender mounted plate - but havent found one cheap enough to warrant buying it to see how it looks (student's budget = not cool).

i'd almost like to return it to stock...of course with inlay metal dogs on it
still on the fence..no $$ in the pot to do anything but rattle can (go away noel)...so it'll be a few months away anyways...it's in the back of my mind tho..what colour to do
