Fixing oil leaks

Been Around the Block
Bought a basket case. Bike is now finally ridable, but I have discovered about 5 oil leaks on various parts of the motor. The PO did order a new gasket kit for the bike which I took advantage of and put on a new valve cover gasket, oil pan, clutch cover, half moons and exhaust gaskets. Even after torquing everything down, I am loosing oil at a ridiculous rate.

I plan on warming up the bike and tossing some corn starch to see if where they originating from. What else can I do?

do a compression test and also check the breather for excessive fooing
or even if the breather is plugged then preshurse builds inside causing erl to 'scape

Can you ellaborate on how to check this? I have a large air compressor I can blow air into to make sure there isn't anything really built up.

google engine compression test
the other is the crankcase breather, is the bike all stock ?
do not blow compressed air in the engine, at least not for the time being
a compression test tells you alot about the engine
if the compression is low/bad it could be causing blowby which CAN cause the engine to leak, if the crankcase breather is plugged up or modified, especially so
the crankcase breather is hose to the carb airbox, usually

Compression is good. Tested a bit ago, each cylinder was within <10% of each other.

Internals are all stock, modified jets in carbs with aftermarket exhaust and pod filters. No airbox and the breather on top of the motor has no hose on it currently.
