I can't wait to see how you polish up the engine stuff to match. Are you going to go with a base color for the cases? Good stance on your bike, the engine looks perfectly positioned. Those headers look to be in pretty good shape too.
the headers are in decent shape but im not going to use them. Not sure what im going to do for motor paint. Im thinking i might do it black. Atleast the jugs will be.
Update?...You got it.
Well i took my bike to LA to have exhaust built for it. Hopefully a nice 4-4 stainless set of pipes. So i dont have my bike to work on. The seat came in the mail but i cant doing anything with it until i have the frame back. I think i might start working on the engine since i cant do anything else. So im starting to collect parts for the motor.
I have a ported head and a hotter 650 cam. I just received a set of CB750 pistons modified to fit a 550 with a bigger cam. It will bring my bike up to about 592cc. Pistons were ceramic coated on top and the skirts were coated in teflon.
Sorry nothing to exciting, but as soon as the guy finishes my exhaust there were be pictures for sure.
