For Sale, 1975 CB400f Cafe Racer

Kanticoy

Mad Science!
DTT BOTM WINNER
Up for sale is a bike a lot of you have seen throughout the years. It is one of my babies, but alas the time has come and I have a million bike projects around here and I'd like to "convert assets" into some of my other bikes, etc. I hate to do it, but I figured I would see what the interest is.

1975 Honda CB400f SuperSport. This bike has been converted to a mild cafe racer with all areas of wear attended to. It has a fresh set of bodywork that has been painted. Brand new tires (200 miles), battery, oil filter and change. Brand new X-ring chain. Front end has been rebuilt with RaceTech gold valve emulators and springs. Rear has Koni springs and new swing arm bushings. Carburetors have been rejetted accordingly for the Yoshimura replica exhaust. Front master cylinder has been rebuilt and the front caliper has a new seal and phenolic piston along with stainless steel braided brake lines. LED tail light, bar end turn signals in the front, and billet signals out back. It has GL1000 coils and new Accel plug wires along with a Dyna electronic ignition. Tank was boiled out and treated with POR15 tank sealer prior to paint. It has a National Cycle flyscreen from a Ducati and Tarozzi mid rise clipons. All instrumentation works and hand controls have been internally rebuilt. Red stitched cafe seat to match the paint. Nothing has been cut off of this bike and it could easily be returned to stock. If the asking price is met, the original excellent condition blue tank and stock exhaust (has some dents and corrosion) will be included along with the original seat (good foam but needs a cover) and the original blue side covers (have cracks and would need repaired). It is showing just over 11,000 on the odometer. Valves have been adjusted, brand new EBC clutch, new valve cover gasket, timing chain adjusted. New clutch, tachometer, and speedometer cable. It has a clear title and is running and riding condition. PM me for contact. Would be willing to trade for the right BMW GS or RS motorcycle. R80 G/S, R80GSPD, R100GS, R1100/1150/1200GS. $4500 OBO willing to negotiate, but not interested in extreme lowball offers. Thanks for checkin it out fellas. She is indeed a peach!
