fork springs

Hi All, I have been trying to plan ahead replacement parts or upgrades to the CL350 project I have started. I am relatively sure replacing the front fork springs on this old bike would be a good idea. However, I have yet to find new springs available for the 1972 forks I have (outer upper spring type). Any one know if they are available? Or should I plan on doing a front end swap / upgrade? Thanks for the help, Greg

If you can't find new springs, you can always add a spacer on top of the springs to increase their pre-load.

If your not going for the look of that front end you might want to track down a 72 or later one and get some Progressive Suspension springs for it. On the plus side you can run a disk with the later front end.
