I just heard there is a tornado in Birmingham Al, hope all our guys in that area are ok. We dodged the bullet several times over the last week, softball sized hail just a couple of miles away, tornadoes too.
Yea, our trip to Arkansas landed us right in the middle of it. Got there Monday with light rain, hour or so later... tornado warnings, hour or so after that... lost power, Tuesday morning... packed up and rolled out.
My daughter drove home from college for Easter. A lot of the places she drove through were hit from 10 minutes to two hours after she passed through. Same thing on the way home. She must have good timing or a overachiever for a guardian angel.
I bet even if Kiley's place didn't get hit, he is working double shifts helping out those who were.
It was a hell of a day yesterday. I was at work at the Birmingham airport and we just missed getting a direct hit. But the damage around here doesn't compare to Tuscaloosa, they got it bad. Obama will be in B'ham and T town tomorrow to survey the damage, thats how bad it is.
