Due to moving and kids and just general life I had sold off all of my bikes and other toys. I have had 3 Honda cm400's and a suzuki gs425. All I had left was an old 81 honda cm400t sitting on the center stand in my garage. I bought it to scab parts off of and it just sat neglected under a crappy old tarp. I had the itch to ride again real bad this winter so I went out and made a list of everything it needed. It wasn't really all that big of a list because I still had a bunch of old parts sitting in a huge box that I basically had forgotten about, so I put everything together and this is what I got......I don't have a tons of pics but I do have a few so here you go. I totally had to redo the wiring it was a fricken mess. took it all apart and cleaned it up then slapped it all together and it works great! I had a cafe style seat made off the original seat pan format. I had taken copies of the pics of a ebay store and website www.Hondaclassic51.com I think was it. I wanted to make sure that the seat was of good quality. It cost me about $125 to 150. I am super impressed with the work and the seat, but that's the kind of work you get from an old family shop that's been doing it for a million years. I will have to hit up some work on the carbs, fork seals and re paint it. I just through on a quick coat of semi flat black to protect it until I can get all the other craptastic things done I need to . This turned out to be a true "ride and fix" project for me. Hope you like.......enjoy......Matt
