I recently purchased this bike to freshen up for my younger brother. unfortunately i do not have the time or will to make it run. the previous owner had it running poorly with the timing being messed up and a carb. i fixed the timing and went through the carbs, however the right carburetor needs a new needle and seat in the float. the front forks are leaking but other than that it is a pretty decent old bike. the seat has no rips in it and is in almost perfect condition. from what i can tell it has not been laid over (no scratches on casing and the headlight brackets are not bent) the previous owner put a new battery in it. the tires are in fair condition. it is a 1975 xs500 with electric start, all switches and lights work and doesn't leak. comes with a horn, extra tach and speedo and a manual.I have the title in hand i will deliver up to 200 miles for a 1$ a mile (location wichita, ks). i will be putting this bike up on ebay shortly after this, for a week.
