Hello all,

Ive decided Im getting out of bikes all together...BAHAHHA.. just kidding...

Since I'll be starting another cafe racer project I've decided to let go of the cb550.
So here it is...You all know the bike...

- Custom metal cafe racer seat & tail-light
- New Dyna Electronic Ignition - SPring 07
- newly rebuilt front caliper
- new speed bleeder
- new rebuilt front master Cylinder
- new front pads
- Kreemed-lined tanks
- Front number plate
- Custom dual adjustable Telefix Clip-ons
- completely rebuilt carbs & gaskets - Spring 07
- new clutch plates - Spring 07
- new throttle & clutch cables - Spring 07
- Stainless steel socket bolt conversion
- New chain - Fall 06
- Stock 4-1 headders (8/10 chrome) w. Turnout exhaust
- 25000 miles

The bike would need absolutely nothing to certify, (it will come certified).
The bike is currently insured, ($530/year insurance), and its on the street.
Its usually out at the Monday night DQ meets and the Thursday night Tims Hortons (Lakeshore/leslie) meets.
This is a turn-key and go bike.
Im open to some interesting trades but asking $5000 firm. I dont need to sell it, but I was just thinking, what the hell am I gonna do with 4 bikes???..

I also have a 595 Yoshimoura Big-Bore kit w/ pressed cylinder heads ready to bolt on avaliable for extra.

LOL...its not that im ditching the cb550 cuz I have a cb750, its just that I seriously cant keep 4 bikes..
I just bought Yellowducky's Ducati... so somethings gotta go!!..

Hey,
I"ll let it go for what I got it for.
I paid $350. Includes the sleeves already pressed into another set of jugs. (that alone is another $30/cylinder to do)
Includes: Pistons, rings, etc..etc. Its ready to bolt-on to the motor. The only thing you need is a set of gaskets. Im told that you can use cb750 gaskets for that kit.

So basically $350 + shipping.

Im told that the heads were bored out to fit the Yosh pistons and the new sleeves from the kit were pressed in.
The whole thing is sitting at a buddies shop along with my spare motor. I can get pics but it will take a week or to before I get up there again. I didnt take pics of the kit when I bought it.

Whenever you can get some. The bike's going into storage this week anyway so not in too much of a rush. Want to sell the spare as well?

Actually now, I'm rethinking that project..
I was gonna do a 69 cb450. but.... now, I'm thinking mabe not....

Im still on the fence. If I decide not to, then I"ll keep the cb550...

and to think I sold my racer for $1500,aluminum rims,F2 dual disc front,norris cam,28mm F2 carbs, complete engine over haul and reseal,,,valve job,new springs,primary chain etc etc etc,,,but really thats all there worth!!
