Ha ha, I would never trust a weld-repaired split rim. That wheel is trash.

Don't waste time welding, a little JB weld will fix that right up.... 8)
 
Maurie (can't remember the spelling but you know who I mean) trying to pull a fast one on you? Check the rafters at Bent, there should be a few alloy hoops up there by the parts counter. And a couple crates of spoke sets of various lengths and gauges.

So tell them "yes", charge three times what it costs to put a new hoop on, and bask in the compliments at your TIG work :)
 
Age hardened and cracked from repeated stress. I feel the same way this morning - I'm cracking up :)

Why do they bother lying? They know people don't believe them and they still try to out fabricate the mechanics... Using stories instead of welders

160psi, MX tyres are real strong ;)

Duct tape, quicker than JB Weld ;D
