Anyone else try to watch this show? They do some kinda cool stuff and then a shit load of dumb stuff. They built a Lincoln Continental, and tried to put 22''s on it. When they won't fit they extended all of the fenders, and tried to sell it right away instead of just going with smaller wheels. I really don't see how this guy can make payroll, and shop expenses. From what i saw the shop losses money on half there buys, breaks even 1/4 of the time, and turns a small profit the other 1/4 of the time. Maybe I'm just really jaded when it comes to car shows, but this was like the ghetto texas version of west coast customs
TV producers pay them to do those things to get people to watch, that's how they make their money. Similar to Axe Men and similar spinoffs, they get paid to be showmen.
Sounds kinda like sons of guns. I recall one episode of that the "hype" was a haas lathe that crashed and they freaked out over "hundreds of of thousands of dollars of damage to the lathe and now we are behind." Puh-leaze. I run those machines for a living, and fix "crashes" like that a LOT at my facility. stop insulting working professionals for ratings!
Yeah unfortunately the producers influence dictates a lot of tastelessness that some of these shows head towards. I thought the Fast'N'Loud show was going to be entertaining, but I have been let down.
