Did you notice the gas cap? The tank isn't under the seat.

Yes, I bet that put too much weight at the top of the bike. tank under seat makes these bikes feel a lot lighter than they are, except when moving around the garage/yard by hand, and putting on the centre stand!

i love wings... have built 2 now... once you take the time to learn the belts and valves your golden! Sean has close to 5800 on the bratt wing now, and my bro... i can not even tell you how much he has on his.. hell we just put 2500 on it last weekend! hahaha

Thanks for all the info. I am going to try to get back to the cruise in friday and see if the wing is back. I didn't get to talk to the owner the last time.

Working on this exact idea myself. bars changed over, seat will come in a month or two, but thus far, it will seem a little "big" for a cafe, but should be a sweet ride. Though ridding the girl of all those extra pounds is a must for peopel thinking on it. Back half of exhaust had to weigh 30 or 35 pounds alone.
