Hello Everyone
Till now in my life of 38 summers i have only made things stock, but after a couple of years wondering while i restored a 1958 Triumph Daytona 500 i felt it was time to to some chopping and styling a bike the way i would like it 2 be.
And the bike thats gonna get it at first is a 1978 gs 400.

Registered here to get more inspiration even if i have a clear picture of what it will look like. (corona kz 400 ish)
I am making a buildthread allready, but both my english and computerskills sucks bigtime,so be patience :-\.
Having a marathon these days with collecting and modifying the bits and removing the extra weight..
I have allso got myself a Mitsubishi turbo in the right size that i would like to attach, but the carbs dont like it..... time will tell.....
This is my first jap 4 stroke with ohc so i guess i will be needing Dtt for some techtips when its time to hit the workshop for the winter, and thanks God they are loooooong up here in the north!
Time to take the S2 350 for the seasons last wheelie and smoke down the hood and enjoy the snow thats in the air this wery moment and get psyked for some motocyclecurgery.
Glad 2 be here.
Take care PEOPLE

Thanx sir. :)
This is an overall great forum!
I just took the frondend of the gs and it is compoletely rotten(and the forklegs are as slim as hell)
Anyone got an idea for an easy replacement fork??
I have an 03 Yam R1 frontend in the shop, but thats just to hightech for this build.

Look up All Ballz Racing. They have bearing sets to swap almost any front end onto almost any bike.

Thanx again mr.
i`we heard that gs 850 are easy 2 fit?
want to keep it old looking.

Got myselves a gsxr 750 front,and payed about 500,-nkr approx 80 bucks.
Now i have all the parts i need to do this.surgery..
Will post o lot of pictures thats allready been taken but not transfered to my pc yet.

This morning i went of to pick up my new front end for the gs 400 brat/scrambler build, and instead of getting the forks sorted out i ended up with 3 pallets(hope thats an existing word) wich contained a complete 1986 Honda vfr 1000 for less than 500$. :D
Anyone out there who have did some serious cafe out of such a thing??
This forks will get on to my zuki and the r1 front and rear assembly with weels, brakes,Øhlins forks and tx rearshocks will get an active new life on the Honda. 8)
Couldn`t be more pleased with the bargain or haveing 6+ months of winther coming up...
Pictures will come soon when i sort out how to upload the shit! :-[
(Hate computers)lol.....

test upload.
bent and tryed the new loop on to the frame.
