1981 GS 450 - $1800


I've been working on this bike for over a year off and on. I started with a strong 1981 GS450 and have added mods almost everywhere. I have put a lot of thought, and love into this bike. She needs to be tuned for the new header and the new subframe still needs a bit of paint. I have an almost complete spare bike in parts along with some motor upgrades if interested. Will trade for an interesting project bike (XS650, CB350,450)

Shortened rear end
Rear cowl narrowed
Red LED's added to rear
Battery box under tank
Stock tank raised up in the rear 2”
Rear seat/subframe angled up 2”
New rear subrame
GSXR shock mounts
GSXR 600 shock
GSX Katana swingarm – shaved with new bearings.
Crappy light/liscense mount


Motor:
Carbs cleaned
New throttle cable
2-1 exhaust header – my design
Ducati muffler – shortened


Electrical:
New battery
Coil Relay Mod
New fuse holders
LED's


Motor: Stock motor at this time, but have parts for a GR650 swap.

It's a long shot but I decided to try. I am a huge fan of the board. Been lurking here getting ideas for couple of years. I've got a build thread over at GSresources, but didn't want to link it here seeing how it's a different board. Found a nice little CB450 for $200.......
