GS750L cafe

Is it possible to swap a 78 gs750 front end and rear wheel with a 81 gs750L model
? i Have a comlpete 750L bike but want the spoked wheels from the earlier, and possibly the older tank too. Thanks for input.

I would be absolutely shocked if they didn't bolt right up. The gas tank might need some altering though.

Did you check out the GSResources? Those guys could give you a yes or no answer......and probably an online example.

Going to start measuring everything. looks like the backbone is different, so mods for tank will be for sure.
