half a cb350

The cool thing about this bike is its double rad. The yellow version was super nice too! Throw up that sexy tail shot of the yellow version. Unless youve totally moved on, & its a bitter thought.

What this old thing :)

Absolutely awesome craftsmanship and stunning photos to capture it. Killer job brother and I just can't say enough

Your photos are the best I've seen. there are a lot of us here that have some skill with a camera. you should post a how to thread on the pics. I for one can follow directions.

Your bikes are pretty sick, but I want to give it up to your style of shooting. Nice work on the pix my friend!

Fantastic looking ride. Just to let you know, your bike is my inspiration. I know that this is an older thread, but I was interested in how you got the pod filter on with the center beam being in the way? Also, where did you get the filter from? I've checked ebay but can't find anything that fits right.

Thanks for the compliments. The pod filter is attached to the rubber that was from the original air filter. I just cut off the air filter and attached the pod to the end of the hose, this allows the pod to clear the centre beam. I got the pod from a local bike shop. Sorry I cant remember what size it is. I have seen them on Ebay though.
Do you have a build thread on here, if so post up a link for me.

You know, that is a great solution to that damn center post being in the way if you're running stock carbs. I'll keep that in mind. If you use UNI's they have a little more flexibility and after a little manipulation to the post with a hammer :-* they fit pretty well. I've seen guys cut and reweld spots in that post to accomodate the pods as well. The dents I put in were very minor just enough to allow the pod to seat and they are hidden by the filter. definitely on the dodgy side but they work.

Thanks for the tips. Here is a good link of a "different alternative" that is somewhat elegant. I think it is finally time to post my build. It'll keep me from procrastinating and I could use all the tips as I build.

Amazing craftsmanship mate. Love to see 175s represented so well. Definately an inspiration for my ever-upcoming build. I am putting it off so I can really pound on her and enjoy right now. ;D

Viva la 175!

Well my little bike is no longer mine I have sold it on ebay for $3k :'( :'( :'(
The new owner is a girl who will look after it and hopefully I will see it getting around.
I have just read through my build thread and now I can't believe I sold it. Oh well might be time to look for another project.
If only I could find a CB77. Looks like I'll have to ride my postie bike untill something comes up...

Bummer man. But sometimes it's the journey that's important and not the destination, right?

Just opens the door for another life thread! plus you got 3k in your pocket and a really happy customer i'm sure!! Still one of my fav builds here!
