Hand control wiring??

So I started tearing into my wiring harness looking to make new stripped version.. looked at wiring diagram but couldn't decipher what some of the wire codes meant. Most are self explanatory but couldn't figure out what DY and SE were. Any help?

Is this on a Honda? Did you follow the wires on the diagram and see where they ended?

DY = Dynamo/Alternator
SE = Stator Excitor

Yep! 74 cb360.. I did follow them but forget exactly where they lead to.. Thanks for the info!

Also... What do the brown and brown/white wires from the ignition switch control? Couldn't trace, cut em and it still runs..

Regarding the SE and DY wires, this is a "feature" on CBs that kicks in the 3rd phase of the alternator when you turn the high beam on. It is a common mod to bypass this and always have the 3rd phase utilized. I do.
