Handmade alloy tank $500

Dual bung, hand made in India, ordered for a bike I restored/built for a friend but he ended up choosing to go with more stock/traditional look so I am now helping him sell this off for his cost.

It's nice at 5+ feet distance (eyesight dependent)... It is not perfect like the ones made in the usa using laser measurements and modern tooling, but those cost over $1000. Check photos: There are some "waves" in the knee knocks and shaping curves, and the underside is ugly but fuel tight. It isn't show quality but s definitely "cool" and at the end of the day not much more pricey than doing bodywork, prep and quality paint on old dented Oem tank for example.

It is sized to be used on a cb500-4/cb550 with the stock seat pan (or any seat that positions in the same place and has the same font width). .

It would work in many other bikes, but you might need to change/adjust the u-shaped undertank frame mounts (bolt on, see photos), or adjust the cover of your seat, perhaps adding or removing some foam to the front lip so it nestles the tank properly. If you don't care about a little gap between the tank and seat front, then you won't worry about this. I am finicky, so this mattered to me.

Does not come with petcocks - pingel has good ones for this.

Add $100 and I will do pro interior epoxy lining using clear Caswell's product, imho the best of these by far given my experience with several in service tanks. The stuff is impervious to BOTH gas and ethanol, unlike kreem etc.
