header length

Ideally headers should be of identical length, but what if this isn't possible? What kind of issues/performance problems can occur? and if not of equal length is there a workable different length, like one doubled? I'm applying this to a cb350 twin that I wanna 2into1.

as long as they are not too short, it won't make a noticable difference if there is a 3"~4" side to side difference. (and you may get lucky where they compliment each other to improve torque)
unless your building a full on drag race motor, the pipe diameter, carbs, cam has more effect than length (your usually operating at lower than max tuned length rpm)
If you've lurked here any length of time you'll know I always recommend a long pipe on 350 and 360 (minimum to rear footrest bolt)

Thanks for the info. Plan on doing CL style headers that join into 1 beside the block and exit next to the seat... More of a modern style but I like that
