Hello All, Tenn

Cafe Redneck

Been Around the Block
Hello everyone
Thought I would introduce myself. I'm Bruce from Tn, about 50 miles from deals gap. Working on Suzuki GS750, have been riding about 40 years now. This is my first motorcycle rebuild; I have restored several cars over the years, so the bike is looking fun, some what easy and cheap. Hope to meet some of you in person, planning a trip to Chicago's rocker vs. mods show (wife's family lives there) and planning the Barber Vintage Festival .
Here picture of the bike I'm working on.

Welcome to DTT ! So what are you planning on doing to your new ride ? looks like a nice bike to build off of ...

Polish most of the alum, blue tank and seat pan, silver stripe and silver frame. Battery and electronics will be hidden inside seat pan. Clubmen bars, modified rear sets from gsxr. Pods, jets and maybe a header. Any suggestions are welcome.
Thanks.

Welcome to the board dude. Love the project. Have you started a build thread in big arse projects? Also you might want to check in with the dirty south section under the regional menu. If you make barber next year I'll see you there!

Welcome to DTT. Located in Maryville, 2 miles from the Dragon. Our family works specifically on GS series bikes, so if you have questions I may be able to help a good bit. We've redone 4 this past year and are doing two tempters right now. I have a few posts of pictures of our bikes and a build thread on the 850 cafe bike I built earlier this year, you can browse my posts under options and find them, running out the door right now for dinner with the fam, turned 25 today.

Forgot to mention my father has been riding since he was a kid and currently owns a GS750EZ all original bike, same style he had as a teen, we found it in a barn about 2 years ago.

hey ChimeraMW, checked out your builds, you dad doin good work. I'll have to catch up with you guys. Your on the top of my list if I need a part, so work done or some info. If nothing else will ride some this spring, Blount Co has the best roads, and the least traffic. We ride out to SMHD, 129 and foothills parkway couple time a month. Not to much to the dragon, It's crazy up there.
