nop. it's cb400 super four.cb400 four is too rare here.

It could be that high displacement bikes can be illegal, but I'm not sure. In a lot of south east Asia you see millions (literally) of bikes, but none of the bigger ones, mostly just 80 - 250cc.

it has nothing to do with displacement, our government thinks motorcycles' unsafe to driving in the urban. aint it great? and almost high displacement bikes came from illegal channel. all in all, it's too complicated to explain u guys chinese stuffs~~

This thread seems long dead...but...i'm also in Chengdu and recently fell in love with cafe racers. Next week i'll be picking up my first bike, it's a kz250. Any thoughts on where i can buy nice cafe style modifications? I don't have a big budget so i'm thinking mainly handlebars, tank, seats etc. also it would be great to meet up with some other cafe lovers here in the 'du.

Going to jump on your post and say welcome to the board. Spent 2 months backpacking around China. Chengdu was definitely one of my favorite cities. Awesome people and great food. Mail order might be your best bet. Not sure what the shipping to China is. Might have some luck finding some stuff in the scrap heap and taking it to a local machinist to chop and mod.
