Hello All. My name is Brock I am from Rayland, Oh. Its a small town about 45 minutes or so west of pittsburgh and minutes from Wheeling, WV. I just wanted to introduce myself because I have been reading and watching for a while. Seems like a great site with great people. I originally recieved a 1980 Kz650 F1 model for free the guy tried to create a chopper/bobber out of this bike. Bike did not run when I recieved it. It took me about 3 days or so and I got the engine running. I then purchased a complete 77 Kz650 B1 with title and I am in the process of combining the two to create one dependable bike. I'm going attempt a "cafe" style build with it. Trying to fab everything and buying as few parts as possible. Its a slow process but I have started a build thread on kz650 info site. Those guys over there are great help as well. I'm holding off creating a build thread here until the build progresses a little more. but here are some pictures that I started with.

I hope to be moving forward with my build. I'm just so slow in progression compared to everyone elses build I would rather take pics as I go and post when I get something substantial done haha.

Man i thought the same thing with my build lol Ive been working on it for over a year and a half and made the mistake of letting a few drunk guys put ideas in my head and not going to be done till next spring most likely LOL Take your time man and post a pic of everything you do to get feedback on other ideas that maybe you didnt think of !
