Hello from Finland

Hi!

Here's another cafe themed honda (cb 500 four k0) from Finland. The bike as originally modified in the 70's with clipons, Ronal alloy wheels, Habermann glassfibre tank and quite ugly DIY alumium single seat. This is how I got it. Since then I have changed the seat with NOS "hump seat" and also changing the front wheel because the Ronal unfortunately wasn't true. The new wheel is from 80's Kawasaki 305 GPZ. I still need to have new brake discs cutted from 5mm steel.

welcome love the bike. real nice lines to the tank flows very well with the whole thing. those wheels worked out well to. definately a complete package.

Cheers Mortikan

hello JK, the bike is a beauty. I'm glad you changed the seat, big improvement. can't wait to see the new brakes. -D

Thanks,

I was in garage yesterday and removed the rear fender. I am not sure whether I will leave it like that and fabricate plate holder + tail lights / integrated signals or get a shorter fender.

It's alive. Exhaust is next on the list :)

Hey, just so you know, it is really not a good idea to run your bike without any pipes on it. It's a really good way to break something.

Just tested it will start after the carb rebuild. I wasn't riding with it so no harm done. Next on the list is to mate a marving exhaust with the headers I have.

Ok, good. I just wanted to make sure! Great build BTW.

Jouko,

Welcome. Great bike. Can you tell me about the tank, I've never heard of that manufacturer? It really looks fantastic on the bike!
