Hello from the Netherlands!

Hi there!

My name is Jesse and i'm a 23 year old guy from the Netherlands. Been crazy about everything that has an engine in it since the day I was born :) .

Currently working as a marine surveyor I spend most of my spare time wrenching on my '64 California Look beetle. Currently upgrading the 1915cc engine to a 2175cc hoping to get 180-190hp at the wheels. Combined with the close ratio gearbox and low weight is should be a blast to drive!

When it's done I'm going to hunt for a bargain CB 450 / 550 or 750 to modify to a cafe racer. For now I will read as much topics to get more information and will keep you guys informed!

So guys an update from me. I will be picking up a CB500K (1972) tomorrow! Has been standing still for quitte some time really needs a lot of work, so perfect for a cafe racer.

I will post some pics and make a new topic in the projects section once I have it.

That Bug is GORGEOUS man! And congratulations on the CB. Im looking forward to seeing what you do with her!

Where in the Netherlands are you? My last job had me spending a ton of time in Arnhem, just outside of Utrecht. BMWCafe on this forum lives in Utrecht as well--or did, he just graduated university.

Anyway, post some pics of the bike.

Look on the neck of the bike. There should be a tag with the model year and ID number.

It does look a bit rough, but Im sure you'll do right by it!
