man I REALLY like the tornado that leon has, and its probably the only open faced helmet I would wear. However I am scared to death of chin planting into a curb and losing my entire jaw.. Seeing as I ve never ridden before on the street and very very sparingly offroad, Ill probably start with a full face helmet.

You gotta thicken the skin a bit. Some of the posts you've done on my threads could be considered "sucking the life out of the party." I typically try to blow the abrasive stuff off and move on.

If you smash your chin into a curb, it's YOUR chin to smash. Who care what the others have to say?

Personally, I'm more concerned with the riding costume than the helmet. The helmet is nice; that goes without saying. My wife commented again last night that she wants one.

Costume? On a related note, did anyone see Motorcycle Crash Tech on HD Theatre a couple of nights ago? Oakleys, Vans and a Do-rag ain't gonna cut it...
