It's not yours 'til you cut it up.
I've been looking into roller painting my tins since coming across this blog courtesy of the $50 mod thread:
http://www.rickwrench.com/index79master.htm?http://www.rickwrench.com/50dollarpaint.html
There's further information on roller painting here:
http://board.moparts.org/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Cat=0&Number=2331682&page=0&fpart=1&vc=1
The problem I have is my location and a lack of information on paint.
Two paints are mentioned which are Tremclad (available in Canada) and Rustoleum (in the USA), both of which are pretty much non existent here in Australia. I've been trying to find out what sort of enamel these are so I can find the equivalent over here.
All of the paints which I've been able to find as a cover all paint which doesn't require primer are epoxy enamels, whether they be roll on or rattle bombs.
I'm hoping someone here can give me the low down on some of the properties of the tremclad or rustoleum paints talked about in the two links above. If they are an epoxy I'll be pretty stoked as that means I can jusy keep using the stuff I have in the shed.
