Here's my CB750, finally taking shape!

BArTY

Been Around the Block
So, I've been a member for some months now and I'm just finally getting around to putting up some pics of my build. Sorry for the poor quality images, I promise will have a photo shoot when she's all done and cleaned up. But for now, here is my baby. 1972 CB750 frame with 1975 SS engine. I can't say I built her myself, but I've definitely had my hands in the mix! She started out as a beat up good for nothin' total piece of sh@t, but I was confident, with the help of my good friend Dustin, we could resurrect this heap. It's been a long 7 months and a lot of headaches, but she's just about ready to ride! All that's left is some final engine tuning and a good ol' spit shine, and she'll be ready to hit some pavement. Let me know what you all think of my lil' 72's sweet cheeks :)

When we got her:

Here's a couple more without the tank. I'll take some better pics this weekend when I get her all cleaned up.

Anyone use a GPS as their speedometer? I don't really want to add an actual speedometer to this bike, too bulky.

I think it's Dakota Digital that makes GPS speedos - pricey as hell though.

nice came along really clean.. man i cant remember who makes it but they make a front wheel speedo.. it goes right on the front axle.. looks pretty cool.. ill keep looking to find out who it was..

thanks! i went through about 10 different color schemes before landing on that one. glad i did, it came out awesome
