Oh I know, but it gives me great ideas for the next time I talk to my friend with the CNC machine.

Well, the only advantage would be weight, allowing for higher revs. For that, you would want to start with a lightened and balanced crank, rods, pistons, valves, valve springs and then rockers. Long way and LOTS AND LOTS of money to spend before you need fancy rockers.

That's true too. Mind you, sourcing performance parts for older airheads is a little challenging. Stock parts are hard enough.

You can buy that engine... for ONLY EUR$4699 ... and thats using YOUR engine as the base

I think I'd rather have three more BMW's... or half a dozen REALLY nice japanese bikes ;D
