New user here, got a couple questions about some electrical. Recently picked up a cb 550. Owned plenty of racers before but this is my
First go from the ground up. Hoping to get lots of advice!

I'm not sure where to start, but does anyone know why the left side coil on a 75 CB 550 isn't firing? I replaced a set off a donor bike and I'm 99% sure that they should be working. There is no arc between the spark plugs on cylinder 2 & 3 when applying 12v... I am going to try and check the points but I'm not sure what I am doing..

Functional test:
Spark plugs on cyl heads - same as before. 1 & 4 firing, 2 & 3 are not.
Next step: look at Points. Points seem to be barely firing (which I'm assuming is 1 & 4) and the other side is NOT firing at all.
How do I test the condensors from here?
