Just wanted to introduce myself to everyone. I own an 82 Nighthawk 750 that I am turning into a cafe racer. Have been a member over at cb750c.com for a while but I dont think they will like me much for modding my nighthawk so I joined here. I am in the process of putting a 78 750 tank on it and trying to decide on a seat setup. I need to keep it two up so my boys can ride with me still.

Heck in the middle of last summer my 6 year old made a 120 mile round trip ride with me . And my wife was the one that suggested it.

not like that bike is "classic". I say it's your bike do what you want to it.

Ya it isnt a classic, but they feel that because that style was only produced for two years it makes it special. I bought the bike for $400.00 and have put about 300 into it. I want a different style but I dont want another bike so that means we modify this one. ;D
