HF media blaster any good?

Super cheap, and would be perfect little blaster for a build/my garage. Anyone have any experience. Only found one youtube vid and the dude said that it worked great. Anyhow let me know!

i have one and like it way better then the canister type that ive used in the past. i had troubles at first, but it was because i needed a water trap.

You may know, you may not...? But if you blast the motor, media WILL get inside of it no matter how well you think you have it wrapped up. CAUTION!!!!!!!! Unless your planning a complete tear down. I would resort to good old fashioned elbow grease for cleaning.

Thanks for the heads up man, in reality I'll probably be the guy who thinks that I can do a "real good" job at sealing it all up and doing it anyways lol. I was planning on taking the jugs off and side covers, I have a full motor gasket kit that I'm going to do as well. Updates will be on my thread when I get to that point. Thanks Louie!

i would have opted for the red 40 pound version...

i have the red 20 pound version and i can blow through it in 20 minutes of blasting. they work great though; just buy media from elsewhere as its cheaper, and opt for the no silica version; WAY healthier.
