Hi-etech...
If you see Led's that are too priced good to be true, they are. I purchased 100 red led's and 'free resistors' with free shipping for $5.85 USD. I have seen others with promo prices in the same amount, so I thought it was legit.
Immediately I get a message saying the order will ship asap, and begging for positive feedback.
Then comes the notification that it has shipped with a tracking number from USPS, again stating that he strives for 100% satisfaction and promising he will fix any problem and asking me not to leave neutral or negative feedback.
Next day I post the link to the item for DTT and the thing has jumped to $30.00. My though is that he sold a few cheap to get the feedback.
Finally a day after the last day the item should have arrived I get an e-mail stating that the package was lost in transit, offering a refund, and begging for the positive feedback this guy needs to run his baiting scam.
The ebay emails are in rather broken English, and the USPS tracking site says that they received notification to expect the item, but not the item. At best this guy is using a bait price, but more than likely I won't receive the item. I am attempting to get resolution through the seller, even though I am pretty sure he is trying to wait out the terms on his shipping to keep the money. He has a ton of terms designed to get out of a refund.
The guy does have a 99.5% positive feedback though, so we'll give it a day or two. Might just be that the guy just sahfts the people that buy at the lower bait prices. We must be the .5% negative...
Stay tuned for updates.
