Hmmm... DTT race bike?

My BMW is direct drive ... no chain to go flying

but ... you also forgot ...
- Oil Pump failure
- Run out of Electricity due to bad alternator

How about Saucers Exhaust Cam, mysteriously snapping a day or so after you guys went for that fateful ride...
And Heidi's mysterious "electrical Short" after the same ride???.. HMMM???!!...

How about after that inner city race that thursday night??.. Hmmmm, (TinTin, Scarcat, Hide, Saucer, Myself & Fugue), my brakes started leaking...Hide has mysteriously disappeared, etc..etc..

Indeed very strange...Im glad that Fugue would be riding for our team!!.. LOL!!!...

In fact, Fugue should be the one wearing the Darth Simpson helmet... ;D

I really think that a club (is a forum a club?) racer would definatley be cool. My old forum (for the bike I used to own) build a custom cruiser and showed it at forum rallies and other venues. A club racer would be kinda the same thing. Get the DTT name out there and draw more attention to Cafe Racers (machines and people). While most could only provide funds, we would still be part of it.

I think this is one of the best ideas you folks have had in some time!!

I'd be up for helping where I can with $ and time! I think keeping the bike as simple as possible would be the key to having the biggest bang for your buck! Not a literal 'bang' mind you! Also, that might allow others to get their license to race and not be as intimidated. The 350/450 sounds perfect.

This could be the coolest promotional tool ever! Sign me up!
