I'm anything but a purist so I totally support it. Automobiles can be so much more than just transportation, ya know? You put your heart and soul into it it becomes a very expression of self, personalized art. That is, if you're into that sort of thing, I guess if not you'd probably just buy a Harley/Corvette and join the gang, hahah!

agreed!!!!

Shit I can't remember, I think stock is 94 I'd have to check. I didn't get an o ring chain since I remember reading something about clearance issues somewhere. As for black, I didn't go that route not sure where to get it.

looks like the chain is most likely a 96

Could be, I really can't remember off hand.

Just got one out of Miami. Its 96 for sure. And found out the diff between O-Ring and non O ring is that one holds lube, the other doesnt and have to be oiled regularly. BTW if youre in NY (Im in NYC) like me, shipping on that tank of mine will be dirt cheap.

Awesome, you pass me on your way, I'm in Wantagh right off the southern state. If you don't give it to your mechanic, on your travels bring it by, you can take a loo at the white rhino I built ;D.

Sounds like a plan!

Ive gotten SO many tickets on the Southern State racing in my 1960's vintage Chevy. Bad memories.

Lol! state troopers are no fun.

They cut you no slack at all.
They got mad when I said "officers, this car is a 1962. NO WAY it goes that fast." He looked at me and said "I know there is a 409 in there. Pop the hood. If there isnt, I wont give you a ticket. If there is you get a ticket for speeding AND a ticket for failure to signal lane change."

Well, I got TWO tickets, lol

You know, if I had to do it all over again I might have left it. It was beautiful for sure but...whats done is done. My goal is to have it look something like this:
never understood a seat like that bad for comfort, bad for control and handling, tire hits the bottom
its like something built buy somebody who knows zero abouit how motorcycles work ,totally ignorant
you do not want to sit down lower on such a tiny bike like a 350f
are you just going to do it because you think it looks good standing sill in a photograph ?

I hope this will address all of the points you bring up.

I styled the bike as is because it is what I like. Whatever is uncomfortable about it, I will adapt to. I have cars that have mods which are not stock, even my my Specialized Mountain Bike has mods that some may not deem comfortable or suitable. I adapted and am totally fine on that bike, and will be the same on this Motorcycle. I have no plans to deliver mail or transport milk cross country on this bike. Its a city-mostly bike with short jaunts upstate and out to Long Island. I am taking a trip through Utah, Colorado, Arizona and New Mexico in August, but that will be done on my 750, which is completely stock. Therefore, I have my stock, practical bike, and I have this tricked out 350F

Actually, I dont feel like having that bike critiqued. Its a stock 1971 750. Easy to find on Google. And yes, it has the original pipes.

Suspension is an active component. It changes length depending on the surface of the road as well as the position of the rider and the speed of the bike. Mock things up with the springs off the of the suspension. If the seat contacts the tires, you need more room.
