just saw this. here is my 2 cents: screw the VW. i know nothing about VWs with V8s in them. i just want to see this bike get finished. as i understand, you plan to box in the swingarm up to the shock supports? that will be perfect. devote all of youre energy to this little Dream.

V8 v-dub....beetle? I need to see this. My dad built one when I was a kid, and we're building one again now. I'd post some pics, but don't wanna steal your thread.

No. It is a tube chassis Rabbit GTI with an Audi V8. It has been an ongoing project for a few years now.

I am trying to finish my engineering degree so my many projects will be put on hold for a while.
I will work on what I can when I can but I can make no promises on any real progress.
