This is a 1975 CB200 I'm working on, belongs to a buddy, been storing it for almost a year in the corner of my shop. I've got a line on a CB750 that if the paperwork gets taken care of will be my next project. I've been moving this thing around for a while now & need something to ride so I figured why not? He has a couple other bikes so told me to get it going & ride It has already has clubmans & short baffled exhaust, just needs some gauges, tire, seat recovered. I already rebuilt the petcock, fixed alot of loose stuff & started to clean it up over the last week. It runs really strong for a 200. I was surprised how quick & nimble. Here it is just out of the garage:
here are a couple of shots rebuilding, petcock, found plenty of loose/wrong bolts, etc. It has some rewiring done, but it all looks good & was done right, it has a on/off switch for the cb750 headlight & kill switch in the back of the headlight.
Here it is last night after a run around the neighborhood tried not to piss off the neighborhood but man is this thing loud, kinda buzz bomb fun though. Cleaned off the leaves & first layer of grease & grime:
Here it is tonight. going home in the back of my buddy Larry's Jeep. Got a flat, & headlight was cutting out while I was dialing in the carbs Luckily he was going by:
Next will be tires, I could hear air coming out from around the valve stem. btw anyone know anything about these little Honda's. tried Google, HondaTwins.com doesn't have much. I downloaded the manual, & check Ebay but don't see many here in Seattle. I like the other CB200's on the forum. but this project isn't quite as involved, get it on the road & ride it!
That is the stock pan, and I think the stock foam. It's pretty lumpy, plan is to put on a thin layer of stiff foam to smooth it out before it's covered. Got a nice piece of black vinyl from a convertible shop near work. Got a new tire today & have to iron out some electrical issues & then really clean it up.
PM me i have a wire diagram for a cb350 twin.. .can help you chase a bit for the reason your headlight cuts out... actually here is a stock wire diagram, i also have the bare bones wire diagram as well

Thanks, I have the manual & wiring diagram, and cleaned all the connections. It's all stock except for the handlebars. All switches have been moved to the bucket. It looks like the hi/lo/off switch is shot & running on high beam all the time. I think the 45/50 watt cb750 light is to much for the charging system & drawing too much juice. Stock should be a 23/35 watt headlight. I really like the look of the big headlight but might have to swap it for a smaller one. Going to replace the switch later & try running it on the low beam to see if that helps, should have my rear wheel & mew tire back later so I can try it out.
