If it is broken, customize it!!
Hello guys,

kinda new to the forum but not to the motorcycle / customization scene.
I've been messing around with an old f....d up cb250 I bought last summer.
Now and then when I've got the time and spare money ::) (don't make a lot of money as a student ;D) , I get to wrench on the old lady.
Already have a lot of parts and goodies, and still a lot of pictures to posts as the process goes.

When I first got her

Wrong front cockpit and front light (cb250N type I guess)

All naked, dusty and rusty :)

Seat pan is rotten, seems someone tried to weld things up a long time ago.
I was thinking to make me one out of glass-fibre as I want to keep te original seat pan with modified cover and such, but at 100+ dollars worth of good materials that's a no go.
Got a spare one coming from the US as we speak, should arrive soon 8)

Tank is in good shape inside, 2 serious dents left and right which I already got out with my homemade spot welder and lead loading skills. (pictures to come)

God knows what a stone-drill was doing next to the air-box

Rust

more rust....front forks are beyond repair, re-hard chroming is way to expensive, will get some replicas

engine is fully dismantled, cleaning the parts in my blasting cabinet in some spare hours with soda. I'll probably polish most of the cases...
Found me some xs pistons and got the cylinders bored after I found some cb360 cylinders in the US along with a good crankshaft (piston pins are different on a cb250 and a cb360)
Had to mill the engine cases to accept the larger jugs from the 360 as well. (pictures soon)

someone welded (glued ::) ) the sidestand-spring-pin back on, so I got rid of it and made me a fresh one out of ck45 on the lathe, still have to press/weld it back on.

all cleaned up

After some lead loading and shaping with the body file, it starts to look ok... 8)
