Cleaning out my garage. This project never really got off the ground sadly.
Wanted to do something similar to the Cognito Moto CB350 GSXR fork conversion: https://cognitomoto.com/pages/fox-cb350-build
I have:
-An incredible wheelset built from Sun Rims, Buchanan Stainless spokes, and Cognito Moto front hub, GSXR wheelspacers, Avon RoadRider tires. Also had the original CB350 rear hub bead blasted to match the new front hub. Wheels were laced and trued by Sean P at Roc City Racers.
-compatible GSXR fork, with new All Balls bearings, and a Cognito top triple clamp (https://cognitomoto.com/collections/fork-conversion-parts/products/gsx-r-billet-top-tree-for-fork-conversion)
I also have:
-CB350 frame, de-tabbed with the transferable registration for NY state
-Clip on handlebars
-Custom rearsets
-Weld on kickstand
-Bates style headlight with custom mounting bracket
-lots of other goodies for the engine, including stainless steel engine bolts, updated Ricks's regular/rectifier and stator, custom chainguard, gasket kit
There was a lot of money invested into this project, but I just never built the engine and put it together. The wheelset alone cost >$1500
Great project for someone with more time than I, just want it out of the garage. Interested in any and all offers. Best way is to email me: nathangarton@gmail.com
