Honda Replacement Fuel Cap pin

I have a CB500T tank I am working on. The fuel cap is held on with a pin that looks to be pressed on, removing the cap will destroy it. Has anyone found a good replacement part for this?

A well stocked hardware store will have exactly what you need for cheap.

I've always reused that pin without problems. I use a center punch to remove it and just tap it back in with a small hammer.

Thanks for the tip, it popped right out with a center punch. I was worried it would come out badly and become unusable.
