Honda tank ID and petcock question

I just bought this tank, it was listed as a CB750 tank. I didn't think it was but I did like the look of it so I bought it. My guess is some model of CX500.

Anyhow I figured someone on here would know what it was. Also this has the regular Honda petcock with sediment bowl. Does anyone know of a petcock that would bolt straight on but wouldn't hang down as far?

Nice, Thanks! These tank badges don't have screws. What would be the best way to get them off? I was thinking warm them with a heat gun and get a putty knife behind them.

Shouldn't need the heat. They have pegs on the back that slide into clips/holes. If you gently pry back and forth around the O and the D, you should be able to work them up/off..
