Hondazuki XLRM250 Trans-America Hell Ride

You know now why the cut out is there? Also I took the res and flipped it over to the left air boot side side and that gave me room to run the exhaust through the frame on the right lower:

My issue with the res is that I'm short as hell . HAHA. With the RM shock, the res has a low shoulder that required just a slight arc to the bar. The Kawi has a really high shoulder and needed a more creative solution. In truth, I probably should've gone with a remote res, like from a CR.

that should hold 2 cans of beer.
Or one bottle of liquor. ;)

I'm setting the bike up to run panniers of some sort too. Plus I have the back of the seat. It's really just to give a tie down point, more than anything.

I took spare covers to test a saline sulfate etch. What you're seeing are various bites with different applications of ground. For this to work in a clean graphic image, a vinyl stencil will need to be employed with the ground. I have enough here to know it will work.

I like the top design with the bottom settings.

And.... draw a penis somewhere inconspicuous!

Let me know if you need stencils. The plotter may be getting packed up for the move after I wrap up one last lettering gig in a couple of weeks or so, but shouldn't be down for more than a few days.

Much thanks. I'm putting together an image to send you. I didn't want to waste the vinyl cutouts on experiments.

Finally getting back on this for the final push. Motor is out and the frame is getting the final welds in place. I hope to have the frame done and painted tonight.

Also, finally finished the seat mount...

Coated the frame in bed liner. No idea if it will work, but it'll be fun finding out...
