It's you... Motorcycle tread isn't like a cars directional patern.

I used to type out a long winded explanation for why the front tires are pointed that way. Its wasted time but is important to know that they do that to create better braking for the front.

The rear is done the way it is because the POINT DIGS into the road surface as power is applied, when the front brake is applied it DRAGS that point into the surface giving more traction.
