Don't know which is the most popular, but the RDs seem to be the least costly. My buddy just sold a beauty of an rd200 for $750. Those were twins not triples.
Good two-stroke board.... http://kawasakitriplesworldwide.com/phpBB2/index.php
Hey, I'd definately recommend getting a Triple!! ;D ;D
I've had 3 Kawi 750 H2's over the years and they're loads of fun!! If you're looking for the most reasonable $$ for a Triple, look for a 500. There seem to be lots available for reasonable $$ here in Canada.
The U.S. Triples board is a good one and there's a cool Canadian one too at:

If you're looking to buy Canadian, there's a good place to start! 8) 8) 8)
There's nothing wrong with RD's too! I love all 2 strokes, but can't afford to own more than 1 at a time!
The most common is def the H1. They easily made i think 10,000 of them from 69 to 76. I think 76 is the last year for them. Eventually i may hunt down another, the S3's are also somewhat common. The frame is a bit smaller but they are a little more nimble from what i hear than its bigger brother.
Plus they have cheap ignition points vs the 200 dollar ignition system the H1 has. Either way they are both badass bikes.
