I hate exhaust reducers.

ive mounted a set of emgos on a bonneville with them it, wasnt easy and I forget how I eventually did it.

now im trying to do the same with an xs360, anyone got a tried and true method?

Yeah, muffler shops can put on an exhaust. This would be excellent advice had I asked "who can put on my exhaust".

However as my question was about people's methods for using the reducers photographed above, it's pretty shit.

Only thing that was really an issue for me was getting those little grooves in the top lined up and have them go in LAST, they prevent the whole assembly falling into your muffler. Then force as many of the 3 inserts in because you want a very close match in diameter before you start cranking on the clamp.

So basically you're incapable of figuring out a metal tube, an then respond like a douche when someone recommends something that may actually help?

Well done.

Now, if you're that worried about the muffler reducer, take the head pipe to a muffler shop and they can expand it for you for about 5 bucks to eliminate the spacer.
