I hate to do this, but I need DTT's help

I've been a member of this forum for something like 2 years, and I do not believe that I've ever made a post asking people to vote in some online contest. When people make these posts asking for votes I normally grit my teeth and do it, but I feel guilted into it. For that reason I hate to be doing this, but I really need DTT's help to get a really good friend of mine into the top 20 of this North Coast Music Fest contest. This could be really big for him.

Voting is super easy, all you do is enter you email, they send you a confirmation email, you click the link, you're done. No sign up needed, it's really that easy!

The contest has been going for almost two weeks now with each unique ip/email allowed to vote each day. Today and tomorrow are the last two days, so if you remember vote tomorrow too!

I normally don't vote in these. And I'm not a rap fan (old school hip hop is as far as I go) but this is something I will listen to.

Less than 7 hours left to vote! The battle to make it in the top 20 is neck and neck, every vote counts. Grab the album, and look at voting as a very small price to pay for an awesome album!
 
One hour to go, this will be my last bump of this thread whoring for votes! It's down to the wire, and a handful of people including my friend are neck and neck to make it into the top 20. He's currently 1 vote out, so every vote counts! It only takes a few seconds, and it would mean a lot to me as this could be a big opportunity for a good friend.

he made it in! finishing in 18th place! It was a super close race, all that separated him and 21st place was 6 votes! Thank you so much for your help DTT!
 
glad to hear he made it. it is some good stuff. if your ever in cali tell him to hit up my boy elvin estella (dj nobody) runs this hip hop clud wed nights called low end theory. all about bringing up good underground stuff.

Nice, I'll pass on the message to him. What part of cali though?

Also I'm sure you guys that voted got the email too, but in case you skipped passed it.. he was one of 10 artists/groups selected out of the top 20 to perform for the organizers. 3 of the 10 are DJ's ( 1 dj and 1band/artist get to play a set at the festival) so his chances of going all the way are pretty good.

edit: 1dj, 1mc and 1band get a set. So there are 3 of each in the top ten then a band/mc (not sure what category they fall into, or if its both..) So depending on how the band/mc is treated he could be up against only 2 other people. And those two other people aren't all that good in my opinion, so..
 
there is a huge show in hanover park this weekned, we are all going in a group from my place on sunday if you wnat to go. we are showing 7 bikes and 3 cars from our shop you should join us... i am riding my cafe... havin a buddy ride my harley in...

he made it! Hes performing sunday along side Lupe Fiasco, Nas and Damien Marley, and many more! Thanks for all your help DTT! This is going to be awesome!
