Been Around the Block
on the the way to work bike started bogging down pulled over and noticed choke flap was closed on right carb. pulled off my stack to find that both screws were out and the flap was just sitting there. i found one screw inside the stack and im not sure if the other fell out out when i took it off or is in my top end, if its inside where did go and how F@!ked am i?
thanks

If the screw did go in then you probably would of heard your motor making some terrible noises. Let's say it did just for the sake of it. It may have got shot out through the exhaust port if you are lucky.

Best thing to do is to take the plug out, see if you can see anything with a flash light. Maybe fish around with a magnetic wand. Check your header or muffler for rattling. Then next time you start her up listen real close for noises. Shut it down ASAP if you hear anything. Checking compression might be a good idea too.

The chances that it pulled a screw into the motor and didnt instantly destroy the valves or instantly destroy something else are slim. Metal bits inside the motor usually cause massive issues very quickly. As previously stated, check the cylinder as best you can. If theres any scoring in the walls, or your valves seem off at all, just pull the head and really do a thorough inspection.

thanks von i have been thinking all day and heard a weird noise right before i got home on sunday it sounded like my spokes were loose it was a weird metal ting sound and i have stright pipes so im thinking i may have passed it through im just worried what damage was done

well it all depends in the size of the screw and exhaust valve clearance. If it did pass through it may have gotten chewed up or disintegrated first.

It would not disintegrate.
At the very least it will damage top of piston and cylinder head.
Worst case, it's still embedded in piston or head, best case, it rattled around a bit and went out exhaust port.
Safest thing to do would be pull head and file down any burrs, they can cause a hot spot and destroy piston in future

so bike sounds relatively normal after running her for a bit, but the cylinder that may have passed said screw is warm but the left cylinder is running ice cold! does this have anything to do with it or have the gremlins finally taken complete control of my lil honda :'(

It's just Gremlins messin with ya ;)
Do normal troubleshooting, points, plugs, fuel, compression

that what i plan to do but not tonight im to sad so im working on my 75 cl360 i picked up on sunday
